Planeswalking - Planeswalking.com About Me

Hello!

Welcome to my Magic The Gathering website.

My background is in Mechanical Engineering, so naturally, I work on software. I took a class on Information Systems, and one of my class assignments was to develop a dating website. I asked if I could do anything else. Planeswalking.com was born.

I built this website for me and for my love of Magic and my love to create stuff. My first Magic cards were 4th Edition and Ice Age, and I've been buying cards and building decks ever since.

I built Planeswalking.com to manage my Magic collection. After years of collecting and trading and selling, I have boxes and boxes and boxes of cards, and I had no idea what was in those boxes. But now I do.

I have used this site since it was first operational, and I have a lot of things that I want to do to continue to develop it. I have a pretty deep backlog. But one of the main goals of this website is to help people manage their card collections. Since we're all stuck at home due to global pandemics and such, I figured now is a perfect time to let other Magic The Gathering fans start using the site.

This website is not the prettiest, and it's not the flashiest. But I think it's one of the most useful Magic The Gathering collection sites I've seen. I'm continually improving it, but this website is just me. I'm the Product Owner, the Scrum Master, the Senior Developer, the Junior Developer, the Back-End Development team, the Linux Admin, the Release Manager, the Content Manager, and the Business Owner (the guy funding the project).

This website is a love and passion and hobby for me, and I aim to keep it that way. I really don't want to figure out how to dump a bunch of ads through the website, so if you do like it, and if you're able, you can help to support this site through the Donate button on the homepage.

But the biggest thing you can do to help is to use the site and let me know what you think! Hopefully, you'll find it's as fun as I do. You can email me at info@planeswalking.com.

Thanks for spending a minute with me on my website. I hope you like it.

Safe passage,
Planeswalking.com
